• The Wired Road - The Wired Road is successfully implementing integrated fiber and wireless infrustructure in rural southwest Virginia. Design Nine is provding project management and engineering for a $2 million fiber expansion, including a rural FTTH project.
  • Danville, Virginia - nDanville is the first municipally owned open access, open services network in the United States. The nDanville fiber network won the Intelligent Community Forum's Smart 21 award for 2010
  • Palm Coast, Florida - Design Nine assisted the City of Palm Coast with the conversion of its city-only fiber network to a carrier-class open access network. Palm Coast FiberNet has four providers in the community colocation center, and the project is in the black in year one.
  • Rockbridge Broadband Authority - Design Nine is providing the project management and engineering for a $10 million open access network that includes 138 miles of fiber and a major regional data center.
  • New Hampshire FastRoads - Design Nine has been helping the 43 towns of the FastRoads region of New Hampshire since 2009. We are now guiding the development of a stimulus-funded regional fiber network that will provide access in 22 FastRoads towns.
